The Tennessee Department of Transportation has installed 56 cameras on the Interstate highways in and around Nashville.  The cameras are mounted high above the roads on tall poles.

Cameras are used to monitor traffic congestion and improve incident management capabilities. The cameras in Tennessee are not used for enforcement purposes.
